Description
The ultra-cheerful semi-cactus Dahlia 'Yellow Happiness' is not quite as spiky as some of her kinsfolk in the dahlia family. Her long petals do not turn back on themselves as tightly, making less tubular spikes than those of cactus dahlias. Perhaps that’s what makes her as cheerful as she appears. Add to that the bright sunshine yellow she displays in multiple flower bursts on her compact bushy plant, and there’s a lot of cheer going on.
Dahlia 'Yellow Happiness' is shade tolerant but likes full sun, so it’s best where possible to let her try and outshine the late summer sun where possible. She’ll surely outshine autumn’s less bright sunlight.
