Description
Mahogany, burgundy—even the words, this make the senses realise that it's something special. And Dahlia 'Tam Tam' definitely is. This pompon or ball dahlia is a little larger than most of its kinsfolk, 'Tam Tam's beautiful ball-like flower opening to about 7-10cm or almost double the size of the smaller pompons. It's a good thing, too, because the luxuriousness of this super-rich coloured bloom can do with the extra exposure. Imagine the deep burgundy or well-oiled mahogany coloured flowers of Dahlia 'Tam Tam' in a vase, or glowing in a border or container. Its deep green foliage will set off the colour still further when this flower blooms copiously on the 60-90cm plant.
