Description
Flowering its socks off from midsummer right up until the first frosts, Dahlia 'Cabana Banana' brings hints of a tropical cocktail hour to the garden. Its unusual, starburst flowers are spiky yet delicate, their creamy yellow petals tipped gently in a pale, peachy pink. Measuring in at a whopping 15cm across, the big, bold blooms of Dahlia 'Cabana Banana' are unashamedly flamboyant and perfect for injecting fun into borders and containers. There’s a time and a place for subtlety and restraint, and growing dahlias isn’t it!
Like all dahlias, 'Cabana Banana' makes an excellent cut flower, and in fact, rather wonderfully, the more you pick the more it flowers. To get the most blooms out of your plants, make sure you give them a sunny spot and pinch out the growing tip when young (around 20cm tall) to just above a lower set of leaves.
