Description
Dark, exotic and exciting, Dahlia 'Arabian Night' brings with it images of richly-coloured rugs, scents of spices and incense, and the timelessness of desert sands. This award-winning dahlia’s reds run from bright to smoky. The centre of this semi-dinner plate bloom is housed unexpectedly in green floral bracts, and darkens from a deep maroon almost to black. Dark touches on the bright red petals create the illusion that the slightly spooned petals are hollowed deeper than they are.
Dahlia 'Arabian Night' is dramatic and alluring and filled with the mysteries its name suggests. This brownish deep-red dahlia is generous with its fully double flowers from July through to the end of summer –just remember to cut of the dead flowers so more can bloom.
