Each stem of Tulip 'Havran' can bear two or three of these exquisite dark blooms, ensuring a generous display.
Tulip 'Havran's rich, plummy shades are so important in a spring colour scheme - to provide a foil for the riot of bright colour elsewhere. Tulip 'Havran' comes into flower a little earlier in the season than the similarly dark-petalled favourite Tulip 'Queen of Night', so many budding garden designers will wish to grow both varieties to ensure the longest possible season of this irresistible, velvety-black hue!
