Description
The gentle and softly-coloured florets of Polianthes tuberosa 'Sensation' has an very strong scent. Originating from Mexico, 'Sensation' was discovered by an university all the way from Vietnam. There is nothing sharp or threatening about this particular polianthes. Soft pinks and white merge in the groups of florets which make up the spire of its flower. Against the bright green of the spike that supports it, and the leaves that surround it, the delicate colours are shown to perfection!
Polianthes tuberosa 'Sensation's soft and soothing beauty will give a sense of calm and serenity to its surroundings. Like all tuberoses it makes an excellent cut flower so you can take some of that gentleness inside with you.
