Description

Few plants light up the autumn garden like the Nerine, or Guernsey lily. These flowering bulbous plants provide the last large splashes of flower colour of the year, and no garden is complete without a few. And, if you desire some real drama to see out the growing year, then you can do no better than to grow Nerine 'Pearls of Cherry'. Its deep, reddish rose-pink flowers have slightly crimped petals, and a beautiful pearly sheen. Mid-green, strap-shaped, semi-upright basal leaves appear after the loose clustered flowerheads. Grow in patio containers, or well-drained garden soil, in a sunny position; these plants do not like too much in the way of shade!

Nerine elegance 'Pearls of Cherry'® has been selected by its breeders as having exceptional colour, a most attractive shape, and excellent garden qualities. It is also grown by the floristry trade as a popular cut flower – so make sure you cut a few blooms the vase indoors, too.
