Description
They say that if you’ve got it, flaunt it, and Narcissus 'Kiwi Sunset' certainly does that with gusto! This irrepressibly cheerful daffodil will take centre stage in your spring garden with its brilliant colours and fetching form. The perianth of egg-yolk yellow outer petals frames whorls of ruffled centres in a strongly contrasting warm orange, interspersed with additional yellow petals. The fully double flowers of Narcissus 'Kiwi Sunset' look like they are bursting with enthusiasm, but what sets them off so nicely is the pretty form of the rounded perianth.
Orange-toned daffodils are becoming increasingly popular, and this one with its unique form is already extremely sought after in its native New Zealand. Blooming in mid spring, Narcissus 'Kiwi Sunset' will look fabulous planted in groups, where it will jazz up a spring border, or it will work equally well in pots for a sunny display. At around 40cm high, strong stems keep these irrepressible blooms upright and highly visible. As well as adding great impact outdoors, Narcissus 'Kiwi Sunset' makes an excellent cut flower.
