Description
Celebrate spring in style with glamorous Narcissus 'Easter Party', a new Dutch breed of daffodil that will cause heads to turn! Distinguished by its very large cups with playfully frilled edges in a soft peach melba shade, fading down to primrose and ending at the base in a splash of yolky yellow, it looks as if the sun is shining from within the centre of the flower. The effect is perfectly framed by matching primrose yellow outer petals with soft rounded edges. Standing tall on sturdy stems, reaching up to 50cm in height, Narcissus 'Easter Party' is a daffodil with star quality, that will sing out cheerfully from your borders or pots.
The soft and sunny tones of Narcissus 'Easter Party' will look great contrasted with blue flowers for an impactful display. You could plant the bulbs to emerge among a froth of forget-me-nots, for example, or alongside pretty blue anemones or hyacinths. The good height of this daffodil makes it a great choice for your mid-spring borders, or perhaps planted in the centre of the pot, surrounded by shorter flowering bulbs. Like many daffodils, Narcissus 'Easter Party' also makes an excellent cut flower, best cut in the morning for a long-lasting life in a vase.
