Description
Here is a Lupin combination that will give your garden an injection of bright and vibrant colour in early summer. You will be able to enjoy agreat and glorious colour assortment—including reds and deep blue/mauves, to pinks, yellows and white, and different shades within them all. The lupin flower stalks range from 90-120cm in height, while the showy, pea-like flowers will attract bees and butterflies.
Lupin 'Mosaic Mix' comprises a blend of high-quality hardy perennial lupins, often referred to as lupines. They will thrive in a variety of climates, and of course they will come back year after year. They will grow best in a light soil in full sun, although they still succeed in light shade. The plants will flower even better, and for longer, if you deadhead them regularly. At the end of the growing season, in late autumn, cut down all the old flowering stems. Lupin 'Mosaic Mix' is the perfect choice for the beginner and experienced gardener alike.
We always use the best quality lupines for our 'Mosaic Mix' which means that the varieties we choose to create this look may differ from year to year. The mix of Lupin varieties used in this collection may not be the same as the varieties pictured, and there will be a slight variation in colours.

Useful information
-
Soak the Lupinus 'Mosaic Mix' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting
Plant your "Mixed lupins" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed. Some varieties are a length of root which should be planted lengthways and shallowly (1-2cm deep).
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
