Description
Dwarf bulb irises produce such beautiful and interesting flowers at a time of year when there is little else to enjoy—and Iris 'Painted Lady' is up there among the best of them. The flowers of this hardy soft blue dwarf iris appear in winter through to early spring. Its upright petals are white flushed soft blue, and its falls are flecked and streaked with a pale, dusky blue over a yellow blush. Iris reticulata 'Painted Lady' is perfect for a position at the front of spring beds and borders, as well as rockeries and alpine beds, containers and window boxes!
These tough bulbs are fully hardy, and their flowers will push through snow and brighten up any garden. It is one of the reticulata irises or dwarf irises, which have their origins in Turkey, so you know they will love to be in a sunny spot, and where the soil has good drainage.
