The upright sword-like stems are generously embellished with these unbelievably beautiful blooms, reaching up to 1.5m in height. Gladiolus 'Ted's Trump' is a statuesque plant and will attract attention whilst demanding very little—it’s easy to grow these Sword Lilies in most sunny borders. Being a tall variety, Gladiolus 'Ted's Trump' is best woven throughout sunny borders among flowering perennials and ornamental grasses. The unusual colour combination looks particularly sleek combined with plants which have dark flowers or leaves, like Dahlia 'Wishes & Dreams', Astrantia 'Claret' or Phlox 'Blind Lion'. Being quite a muted, dusky shade, it will easily fit in with a pastel planting scheme too.
