These fast-paced felines burst into action at the very start of summer, handily around May/June, to bridge the spring-to-summer seasons with a fearless display of big, intensely-coloured blooms. The combination of amber, copper and violet tones is absolute perfection—rich, warming and truly harmonious. Each bloom comprises upright standards and tiger-striped falls, each with a bright yellow eye.
Despite their flamboyant, impressive looks, Dutch Iris are very easy to care for. Simply plant your Dutch Iris 'Tiger Mix' bulbs outdoors in autumn in free-draining soil and wait! Growing to a good height of around 50cm, make sure they are planted either in a sturdy pot or in a nice spot in the middle of the border. Iris × hollandica 'Tiger Stripe Mix®' look best in groups or swathes, where the colours in this mix can unite into one beautiful blend.
