These blues won’t be depressing in the least – the soft lilac blue of these large blooms will just add a note or two of pure soul in the same way blues music does! Dahlia 'Blue Boy' is a semi-dinner plate dahlia variety, which keeps its size in the medium range (around 20 cm or 8 inches in diameter) of the large decorative dahlias. The softly-coloured petals on the always-double blooms are rounded and slightly scooped.
