There is indeed promise in Calla 'Captain Promise'. The promise of beauty, hope and love that will survive change and season. Certainly, although the colouring changes on its flower, the resulting feelings remain. Each step of watching this long-lasting bloom change will excite and fascinate you as the summer progresses. Emerging out of a cup of green and creamy yellow, the colour will slowly alter from a dark purplish hue to a bold pink, with a darker shade in the central bowl. Calla 'Captain Promise' are strong and sturdy plants and are highly suitable for growing in borders or in pots. Just be sure to place them where you can watch the subtle changes as the blooms change colour.
