Caladiums are exotic foliage plants and can be grown either as summer bedding, where they will provide a long season of colour from late spring right through to autumn, or as cool houseplants. When growing outdoors, they do best in a partially shaded spot with a good, rich soil. Fast growing yet compact, they’re the ideal thing for the front of a tropical border or to pad out a patio pot.
