To enjoy a mesmerising display in winter, it’s simply a question of potting up the bulb in free-draining compost in snugly-fitting pot, placing in a warm, bright spot and watering occasionally. A few weeks later, the beautiful Hippeastrum 'Luna' will burst into growth and unfurl several gorgeous, single 20cm wide flowers from its buds.

Plant your Amaryllis 'Luna' bulbs in pots from mid to late autumn and grow indoors;
Plant the Hippeastrum with the neck of the bulb exposed above the soil surface;
Plant each bulb into a 15-20cm diameter pot;
Place the bulbs with the pointed side facing upwards;
Water-in after planting and water sparingly until your Amaryllis 'Luna' sprouts. Keep it well watered once in growth.
