Description
Impress your winter guests with this unique, arty-looking Amaryllis! You’ll find Hippeastrum 'Gervase' so uplifting to have around during the cold season—it’s bright, a beautiful colour, fun and a little bit quirky. The flower shape is elegant and its pink and white petals are artily patterned with streaks of intense, shocking pink. It’s exciting to watch each bloom unfurl because each one will look slightly different. Another notable feature is a cascade of vivid reddish-pink filaments to match those hot-pink petal flashes.
If you miss gardening and seeing exotic flowers during winter, then growing an Amaryllis like this is a must. Hippeastrum 'Gervase' is very easy to grow and puts on an incredible show-off display of blooms in a vivid, cheery colour. Being an indoor plant, of course you don’t even need to set foot outside in the cold to enjoy it! Plant these big bulbs in autumn into snug-fitting pots with a little compost and wait for an impressive, often multi-stemmed, panoply of glorious pink blooms to brighten your day!
Amaryllis 'Gervase' is a delightful and exotic flower, offering a striking array of colours and intricate details. Its glorious pink petals curl around one another in a swirl of romantic hues, from lightest blush to a deep rose. Giving the flowers an almost gemstone-like quality are the marbled markings of light and dark tones, creating a distinctive patina.
