This variety will reach up to 60cm, so is ideal for the middle of a sunny, well drained border.
A classic Allium with its large purple spherical heads of flowers, and thick green stems, bolting out of the border during late spring into early summer, like a firework! However, Allium 'Party Balloons' has one very special feature of multiple flower stems per bulb, as well as the long-lasting glaucous foliage. Like its counterparts, these purple exploding blooms will attract many pollinators to the garden year after year, making these and bulbs from the Allium family an essential part of any border to offer support insects and birds.
