Description
As hot, spicy and daring as the Latin-American dance it’s named after, this Tulip brings a taste of tropical sunshine into your late spring garden with its rich rose shading to tangerine blooms. As you’d expect from a Crispa Tulip, Lambada Tulips have fringed petals, and this just adds to the exotic ballroom dance imagery. Sun drenched beaches, brightly coloured dresses and festive music - that’s just what Tulip Lambada evokes.
With well-grown Dutch bulbs, getting that fabulous explosion of colour has never been easier. They’re primed to produce top-sized blooms, and the embryonic flower is already hidden inside the bulb. This makes growing prize Tulips in beds or pots as easy as choosing a sunny or lightly shaded spot and well-drained soil. Crispa Tulips are also known as Fringed Tulips.
