Description
The Tulip 'Estella Rijnveld' is the picture of springtime exuberance and fun. Her contribution to any garden is both colourful and cheerful, her blooms a fireball of flaming red and white with the occasional brushstroke of green. The deeply-fringed and extremely huge petals add to the gaiety of this very special parrot tulip, a group of hybrids which earned their name from their plumage-like blooms which are reminiscent of the feathers of exotic forest birds.
Heads will definitely turn to pay homage to a group of these beautiful ladies, or Tulip 'Estella Rijnveld' could be planted among less-showy tulips that also bloom in late spring, so her individual beauty is set-off, not challenged.
