Narcissus 'Watch Up' is a beautifully poised daffodil with a fresh, luminous presence, pairing a clear white perianth with a softly coloured trumpet at its centre. The corona opens with more noticeable yellow, then matures to the palest buttery shade, giving the flower a gentle sense of movement as it settles into spring. A wavy, ribbed mouth adds texture and refinement, while the glowing yellow-green eye catches the light in a most becoming way. Elegant rather than showy, Narcissus 'Watch Up' has the look of a carefully painted watercolour, crisp at the edges and delicately washed with colour.
In borders and containers, Narcissus 'Watch Up' is wonderfully versatile, its white and pale-yellow colouring slipping easily among muscari, hyacinths, early tulips and fresh emerging foliage.
