Plant daffodil bulbs from September to November. If needed, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from mice, but plant before they begin to deteriorate.
Narcissus 'Peach Prince' graces spring borders in mid-spring with a refined elegance that befits its regal name. This double-flowered daffodil gives a beguiling performance with its over-sized blooms, dazzling good looks and a striking colour contrast. Each flower features a wreath of crisp, white, outer petals, encircling a ruffled centre. The theatrical, frilly-edged petals of its split-corona positively glow in warm shades of apricot which stand out beautifully against their pale backdrop.
The stylish Narcissus 'Peach Prince' is a stand-out variety, deserving a high-profile spot in borders and containers. Its luminant blooms rise on sturdy stems of around 30cm tall, making this a useful cut flower for luxury spring bouquets. Narcissus are a spring-time favourite, reliable on almost any garden soil and naturalizing with ease. Despite its opulent appearance, you’ll find this prince charming is refreshingly low maintenance, returning year after year to meet and greet admirers with another radiant display.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, two to three times their own height deep and around 10cm apart. Smaller bulbs can be planted slightly closer together.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Established bulbs in borders rarely need more, but water during dry spring weather and keep containers lightly moist.
Remove faded flowers, but leave the stems and foliage until they turn yellow and die back naturally. The bulbs can remain planted throughout the year.
