Description
A symphony in blues and purples, Muscari latifolium shades from tips that are the blue of a summer sky to a rich purple-blue at the base of each flower spike. And despite its remarkable looks, it’s as easy to grow as any other grape hyacinth. Not only will you get a carpet of blue blooms in spring, they’ll return each year if you let them. Lovely on their own, in containers, massed garden beds or as an edging, Muscari latifolium is also the perfect way to make the most of your tulips. Yellow provides the most striking contrast, but white and blue or pink and blue are combinations that are just as pretty.
