Gloxinia 'Kaiser Friedrich' deserves to bear the name of an emperor and a king. And it does. It is named after the last German Emperor and King of Prussia in late 19th and early 20th century. It’s rich and lavish colour scheme denotes class, authority and majesty. The deep velvety red of this trumpet-shaped bloom deepens to nearly black in the depths of the flower’s centre and the outer edges are trimmed with white like fur on a royal cloak!
