Description
Reminiscent of sumptuous silks and glittering jewels, Tulip 'Persian Pearl' will bring a touch of exotic glamour to your spring display. Pointed petals of intense pink are adorned with bright splash of golden-yellow at the centre, singing out against the grey-green foliage. Interestingly, the outer petals are backed with a paler colour, meaning the buds will give a pleasing candy-striped effect, before they burst open to reveal the treasures within!
Tulip humilis 'Persian Pearl' is an exceptionally good naturaliser, meaning these delicately-sized blooms will soon spread to create a shimmering oasis of springtime colour. Happily growing in either sun or part shade, it won’t be hard to find a suitable spot for these low-growing beauties in the garden.
