Description
The recently introduced Peony 'All That Jazz' has some of the most unusual blooms we have seen! A deciduous shrub, it has attractive, deeply-divided leaves. But the real stars are its fragrant, semi-double to double flowers, that are a creamy-apricot, flecked and streaked with red. Each bloom has a central flare of a gorgeous deeper burgundy colour, too. It flowers over a long period, and the blooms are large at around 20cm across. Staking is not necessary and Peony 'All That Jazz' grows up to around 80cm in height, with a similar spread. It is not unusual for an established plant to carry as many as 50 stunning blooms in the height of the season.
Paeonia 'All That Jazz' is an Itoh hybrid peony, and rarely seen for sale. It enjoys the best of both herbaceous peonies and tree peonies! It has strong, sturdy stems, just like tree peonies, but it goes dormant in winter, just like herbaceous peonies. Plant Peony 'All That Jazz', and reap its rewards for many, many years!

Soak the Paeonia 'All that Jazz' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting
Plant your bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed. Some varieties are a length of root which should be planted lengthways and shallowly (1-2cm deep).
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
